Background: A customer we’ve been working with since 2014 needed to bring on board a Senior Pensions Manager to help restructure and redefine the employee pension offering for 3500 staff following the merger of 2 organisations. A niche, complex role, it required senior experience, gravitas, supplier management, legal knowledge and extensive pensions experience.
What we did: Search methodology is at the core of Boston Hale’s approach. Investment of time, thorough understanding of the brief and designing a search strategy mean we can cover the whole market, active and passive.
Results: A seamless recruitment process with 3 shortlisted candidates, one of whom was successful. All parties were extremely satisfied with the result!
The calibre of the candidates and speed of response was very impressive – I could have hired several. All the qualifications and experience I’d requested were there, the consultant had really listened and his understanding of the brief was exceptionally perceptive. One candidate really stood out, her background was ideal.
Luckily the role suited where she was in her life and we met her desires for flexible working. Since she’s come on board, she’s impressed even the hardest to please people. In many years of recruiting, this has been one of, if not the very best, hire that I’ve made. It was a fantastic experience from end to end.
