We are currently recruiting for a South London based client who is hiring for an Assistant Accountant to join their exciting Financial Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, renowned charity.

The successful candidate will be an experienced user of Excel, have proven reconciliation experience and will be available at short notice.

Day to day duties:

• Reconciling bank accounts, petty cash and balance sheet control accounts
• Identifying and solving variances
• Liaising with regional accounting teams
• Assisting with month end

Essential experience:

• Solid understanding of double entry
• Significant experience of high volume bank reconciliations
• Intermediate Excel
