Our client is a large Government agency and an international leader in their field. They are looking to recruit a Category Manager to manage Scientific Procurement.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Confident and familiar with creating and implementing category strategies
• Recent and extensive experience leading OJEU and EU law compliant tenders
• Extensive experience with Lab Equipment, Capital Equipment, Maintenance and Scientific Services
• Highly numerate, technically minded with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Demonstrable track record as a manager of Procurement professionals
• Must be MCIPS or partially MCIPS qualified; PRINCE2 desirable
