Infrastructure Engineer, Deployment Engineer, Octopus, Active Directory, Windows Server, Ecommerce

My client, a leading British retailer, is hiring an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer due to a new opening in the team. The role will have two core responsibilities:

• Infrastructure support and maintenance – BAU, bug fixing, installation, upgrades, server support
• Code deployment- using a deployment tool (Octopus) to deploy development code into a web / ecommerce environment

My client is willing to train on technology and bring an ambitious deployment specialist up to speed on infrastructure projects and brand new technology.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

• Code deployment experience (Octopus deploy)
• Whiz with Wintel Server technologies
• Virtualisation server environments
• Active Directory
• Windows 2012
• Firewall management
• MS Networks
• Cisco networking and telecoms
• Systems security
