This established, innovative professional services organisation is looking to engage with an experienced interim Procurement specialist with depth of knowledge across various Indirect categories of spend.
Based in Buckinghamshire your remit will be to establish Indirect Procurement, explore various avenues to save money and add value, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Ideally, you will have experience across several of the following areas of spend:
- FM (Hard & Soft)
- IT & Telecoms
- Professional Services
The role involves an extensive level of stakeholder & key supplier management. You will be required to deliver the maximum value from the Indirect Services categories under your responsibility.
You will manage the cost base by delivering opportunities that drive costs out through strong negotiation, value engineering, strengthening supplier relationships to mitigate risk and improve performance.
You should have a strong track record of success within the Indirect Services categories. You will have demonstrable experiences in managing a full procurement service, including formulation of contracts, policies and procedures, engaging with executive and board level stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing the sourcing process from end to end.
