We are working alongside a global organisation that provides tailored financial and professional services to private clients and their business interests. Currently headquartered in the City of London, they provide services such as banking, corporate finance/ recovery/ tax, forensic services and litigation support, investment management, etc.

As part of a major relocation project, we are looking to onboard an Interim Procurement Manager to work with the FM Department which comprises of Property management, Operational management, Service delivery, Health, Safety & Environment and Project & Change management with responsibility for group wide premises and services.

This is a newly-created role working with the Facilities Director and will have responsibility for a major relocation project, procurement for all Facilities BAU work, and any regional office fit-out or upgrade projects. The role will include:

  • Hard and Soft Facilities
  • Property and Facilities Projects
  • Construction
  • Fit-Outs and Refurbs

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable and extensive experience of successfully managing similar procurements in complex business environments
  • Experience of key general principals of Facilities and contractual mechanisms for measurement and controls around Mechanical & Electrical/PPM/Asset management, Catering, Security, BMS, AV/VC, IT/Facilities integration, Cleaning, Utilities
  • Experience of Construction/Fit-out/Refurbishment projects; design, fit-outs, workplace change, moves, filing, furniture, service delivery and contractor management
  • Strong planning & estimating skills
  • Good working knowledge of Sharepoint
  • Thorough understanding of building-related risks and issues
  • Strong, demonstrable experience of negotiating with third party vendors and / or consultants and achieving cost savings
  • Good working knowledge of legal contracts
  • Must have worked in a Facilities Management or property-related corporate contract environment previously
  • Desirable to have experience in procurement of IT products and systems
