Catherine leads Boston Hale’s Finance practice, specialising in senior and interim finance hires across the UK non-profit sector. Her work focuses on charities, housing associations, universities and membership bodies, where she supports organisations with both permanent and interim hires, often working to tight deadlines where timing is critical.

With a deep understanding of finance functions within these organisations, she works closely with clients to anticipate hiring needs linked to reporting cycles, regulatory requirements and wider economic pressures. Known for her relationship-led approach, she focuses on delivering the right outcome for both client and candidate, ensuring placements are effective from day one.

 - Interim finance roles across core and leadership functions such as CFO, Finance Business Partner, Finance Director and Heads of Management or Financial Accounting

Working with the wider Legal Business Services practice, Catherine and her team support US law firms with accountancy and finance hires, applying the same structured approach used across her core market and drawing on Boston Hale’s wider network in accountancy and finance.

Her experience gives her a deep understanding of the pressures clients face, from year-end reporting and audit cycles through to wider economic and funding challenges. This allows her to provide practical, informed advice and deliver talent solutions for immediate needs and longer-term objectives.

A growing area of her team’s work is the delivery of accountancy and finance hires within US law firms. She has overseen several mandates for FP&A and Reporting roles.
