Research Accountant

Seasoned Research Accountants can be a hard skillset to find which is why I am delighted to be working with a candidate who has spend the last 15+ years managing the research grants within a University.

 

They have recently had a well deserved short career break and are looking to continue within research accounting in either the University or Charity space. Open to interim or permanent opportunities.

Key Skills + Experience

  • ACCA qualified Accountant with extensive experience within the University sector
  • Currently managing all of the post award finances for a Universities research projects
  • Managing a portfolio of research grants from the point that a project is awarded through to completion
  • Liaising with project partners and arranging for payments to be made to partners
  • Proven track record of business partnering with Heads of Department/Deans of Research
  • Able to produce high quality, accurate work whilst in a pressurised environment
