After I took a break from my career in Insight for the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries, I was looking to find a new role in which I could utilise my existing skill sets, but also learn new skills.
The consultant was very proactive, encouraging and supportive. She was able to help my understanding of the role, filling in the gaps from the job description. She helped me build knowledge of the company, what they are doing and the purpose of the role within it.
Her approach was upbeat and positive. One stage of the interview process involved a presentation and she was very happy to look through it, provide feedback and support me in achieving the desired standard.
I felt my consultant was very easy to talk to and clearly had a lot of skill and knowledge. Although we are at different life stages, we had good chats throughout the recruitment process and her understanding and knowledge was excellent.
This is my first position since I took my career break. Since starting my role, she’s also been in touch to check in with me. I am enjoying the role, which is a good balance between using my key, existing skills and the challenge of learning and developing new ones.
