Contract Project / Programme Manager - Housing Association (Civica Implementation)

MAX 1 day a week, sometimes zero, in-office near Liverpool St station, London.

We are working on behalf of a leading Charitable Housing Association seeking an experienced Project / Programme Manager to help deliver a business-critical Civica implementation. This contract role will supplement the existing PM to ensure the programme gains momentum and delivers successfully.

Expertise in Change Management (Benefits realisation, Training and Comms Planning) will be critical in assisting the incumbent PM to get this delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a high-profile Civica implementation

  • Build strong engagement with business stakeholders and users - winning hearts & minds across the organisation

  • Re-establish a collaborative, productive relationship with Civica to drive project success

  • Oversee planning, governance, risks, issues, and reporting, ensuring clear accountability

  • Ensure milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and to expected quality standards

  • Manage Change, Training and Communication Planning to optimise benefits realisation, business adoption and return on investment

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale IT or system implementations

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

  • Supplier/vendor management experience, ideally with Civica or similar platforms

  • Solid knowledge of project governance, planning, and risk management

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities

  • Housing or charity sector experience (desirable)

If you excel at turning around struggling programmes, with the ability to bring disillusioned stakeholders with you on that journey, then please get in touch ASAP with your CV. This is a business critical programme and will be a real feather in the cap for whoever successfully delivers the system.
