Overview
David leads Boston Hale’s Data & Technology practice, with a particular focus on supporting US law firms investing in innovation, AI and legal technology. Working alongside a specialist team, he delivers senior permanent and contract hires across legal innovation, data, change and technology-led transformation.
He takes a consultative approach to recruitment, working closely with hiring teams to advise on role scope, required skillsets, budget and strategic priorities before starting the process. Known for his candid and straightforward style, he isn’t afraid to challenge and works with clients to solve complex hiring challenges, particularly within legal innovation and AI-enabled roles.

Supporting US law firms with hires across innovation, legal technology, AI, data and analytics. His work includes placing key hires to help firms translate strategy into practical capability, as demonstrated in a recent customer success story.
