It’s been a busy month for Boston Hale and our fundraising efforts. The Great Boston Bake-off concluded with a last-minute entry that took the office by storm. And three of the team have completed different athletic challenges to support Marie Curie.
Catherine completed a 50km walk in a day with her partner Josh (who went on to do 100km!) Starting in at the River Thames and following it out of London. Taking them a staggering 12 and 21 hours!
Phil completed The Great North Run with a great time of 2 hours 38 minutes. This is the second time Phil has done the Great North Run, but this was his new personal best!
Simon completed the London Marathon with an amazing time of 3 hours 27 minutes. Simon is our in-house Marathon runner, he is already planning his next marathon for next year, hopefully in Copenhagen so watch this space!
We are not stopping yet. October is also a busy month for our team. Simon is hosting a charity golf day which should bring us up to par. And Tom will be running his first-ever half marathon in Liverpool, which should be a cool day being at the end of October along the docks!
We are getting closer to our company fundraising target all the time now. If you would like to help Marie Curie by supporting our amazing team, follow the link below.
Massive thank you to all the people who have helped us raise over £6000 so far
