The Practice Manager will be required to support a high-performing team and will serve as the primary liaison to other practice groups and business functions. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the practice area and understand how it relates to the practice group, Department and Firm priorities.

Day to day duties:

• All aspects of business planning and managing strategic initiatives
• Working closely with BD and Marketing to align resources
• Monitor fee earner activity and matter status
• Managing work assignment policies and procedures
• Overseeing Work assignment tracking and time entry compliance
• Managing attorney compensation
• Managing all aspects of the Groups training requirements
• Working with Talent Acquisition on all staffing requirements for the Group
• Monitoring the Practice Group's financials and analyzing data
• Presenting variances to fee earners to allow better decision making

Person requirements:

• JD qualification is preferred
• Proven Law Firm experience is essential
• Strong communication and business partnering skills at all levels
