Now there has been time for the dust to settle around our big office 150km run it's time to look forward to what else are we doing this year to raise money for Marie Curie in 2021.
On our just giving page we are making great strides towards our total of raising £10,000, but more needs to be done. We are at about 40% of our target when we write this.
We have three big events planned by some of our staff. The first is the Great North Run which Phil will be running in September, this is a half marathon that takes place in Newcastle.
The same day Catherine will be doing the 100km Thames Path Challenge, this is over two very long intense days starting at Putney bridge and walking all the way to Henley.
Our resident marathon runner Simon will also be running the London Marathon in October. These will hopefully be back to normal and not a virtual run with the lifting of restrictions.
Any support you would like to share with the team is greatly appreciated. With lockdown and other measures starting to lift we will start being able to do team-based ideas and collections throughout the year to raise even more for this great cause, so please watch this space.
If you would like to help us with our fundraising, you can find our Just Giving page here.
