Are you a qualified Financial Accountant? Do you have experience working in the Higher Education sector?

We are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to assist our client during a period of staff absence, providing specialist support to the wider financial accounting team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys interim work and is strong on Excel.

Day to day duties:

• Support preparation of funding statements
• Process student income
• Support the preparation and updating of invoice registers
• Reconciliation of Students Loan Company account
• Perform weekly reconciliation of all suspense accounts
• Review and approve weekly BACS payment
• Provide cover for Financial Controller in their absence

Essential experience:

• Strong Excel skills
• CCAB part qualified as a minimum
• Experience within the non-profit sector (ideally higher education)
