Legal Project Manager

Our global, full-service law firm is looking for an accomplished Legal Project Manager to join their growing US team. The successful candidate will be required to support attorney teams in financial and strategic planning and implementation of high-level matters.

Day to day duties:

• Building bottom-up budgets, with clear assumptions, drafting statements of work and scoping statements
• Tracking and managing attorney matter budgets, fees and costs
• Holding regular meetings with attorney leadership to track spend
• Managing large attorney teams to ensure accurate fee estimates
• Detailed tracking of invoices issued and payments received
• Tracking and reporting on attorney utilization
• Designing LPM trainings and workshops to educate the firm's associates on LPM fundamentals
• Developing and refining Pricing & LPM initiatives and technology tools
• Collaborating closely with the firm's Pricing team
• Providing retrospective data analysis reports, highlighting key takeaways
• Providing matter and portfolio-level profitability and efficiency analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or MBA required
• Law Firm experience is essential
• JD and/or law practice experience preferred
• PMP or Prince 2 Certification desirable
• Previous experience with data analysis and reporting tools
