Procurement Technology Implementation Programme Manager

My client, a leading Marketing Production Agency is looking for a Programme Manager with experience delivering Sourcing / Procurement Technology Product implementation across all our 100+ sourcing clients.

Oversight and operation of strategic programme(s) specifically including:

  • Solving the current issue of using old systems and building/delivering a large scale programme to be market competitive and leading sourcing Technology.
  • Must have demonstrable experience of delivering a large scale Procurement Product (Off the shelf) across multiple sources
  • Must have experience of taking a procurement product implementation programme from initial business case stage through to delivery
  • Delivery of the Strategic Business Case through coordination of the programme's workstreams, its associated inter-dependencies and the new capability for eventual realisation projected benefits;
  • Monitoring delivery of products or services from projects/workstreams to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in consultation with the Executive Sponsor, raising key risks and issues for review and action.

  • This will be achieved through:

  • planning and designing a programme, monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • defining the programme governance
  • planning and monitoring for quality and overall integrity of the programme
  • management and control programme budget against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
  • monitor allocation of resources and skills across the programme projects/workstreams
  • managing third party contributions to the programme
  • managing communications with all stakeholders
  • managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
  • managing risks to the programme's successful outcome
  • working with relevant business and technical stakeholders on the transition to business as usual position
  • initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise
  • reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the Executive Sponsor.
