Our client, a rapidly expanding fin-tech company, are looking for an operational insight analyst to join their team. This hire will be essential in helping them to utilise their recent growth in the best possible way. This will sit in their operational analytics team, so will provide insight into the best possible ways for the business to run, for example, looking at how the sales, marketing and finance teams run, and advising on the most data-informed way to solve business problems.
Derive actionable insights throughout the entire business, as this will come from an analytical perspective
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to prioritise and translate business questions into analytical projects
Identify opportunities for improvement through data - setting targets, understanding drivers, assessing performance, and modelling scenarios
Present results back to the business in a structured, data-driven manner - simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences
SQL experience needed
Experience in analytics in a B2C market
Python or R experience desirable, but not necessary, this role will allow you to learn and use
Problem solving, utilising a broad range of data sources
Experience with customer analytics (churn, lifetime value, segmentation…)
Experience building dashboard or self-serve tools, with preference for Tableau
