We said we would be back, and now we can confirm that Boston Hale will be attending this year’s P3 – The Practice Innovation Conference on the 12th – 14th June.

Our very own Luc, now Manager of Legal Business Services here at Boston Hale, will be flying out to Chicago for the 3-day conference. Run by LMA, The Authority for Legal Marketing, the event is held at the magnificent Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. This unique event will fully immerse the team in the developmental practices surrounding the legal profession, and allow us to better understand the needs, challenges and competition that our clients and candidates face.

There are a variety of sessions on process improvement and project management, as well as a masterclass on law firm pricing models and trends, meaning that the P3 conference is set to be even more insightful than the last. One of the most anticipated presentations will come from this year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Arin N. Reeves, President & Managing Director at Nextions, who will be discussing the principles of unconscious bias and how many specific implicit biases affect the way business-of-law professionals learn, work and lead. This is particularly interesting for us as a recruitment company, as we are in the business of people and any unconscious bias can impact upon who we meet, invite for interview and recommend to a client. In fact, we utilise the Implicit Associations Test as part of our Diversity & Inclusion training for all our employees, in order to ensure our consultants are treating all candidates equally and neutralising biases.

On top of all the learning opportunities available, the P3 Conference provides the chance to network with various legal professionals as we continue to extend our business reach overseas. We hope to leave this year’s conference with new concepts that we can apply directly to our business, and a number of new contacts we can help and work with in the future.

Make sure you check out our Twitter page @boston_hale as we will be live during the event!
